  1. Picture this…

A stunned Electro-Mech student wanders out of the Automation Training lab and into the daylight still trying to figure out how she is going to pass these few required automation courses with all of their RSLinx and RSWho and RSLogix and RSTrainer, and tags and addressess and I/O and XIO and XIC, and AUGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Yep. It was definitely my first Rockwell Moment.

But, like everyone else that I have talked to in group therapy (aka “class”), I survived the initial shock and became fairly comfortable with the whole Rockwell Automation concept, and even learned to, dare I say, enjoy it? To the point where I will be shortly finishing up a double-major with Automation Engineering Technology as the second degree. 🙂

And, I could not have done it without your help.

Whenever I had a question and was all over the internet trying to figure out what Rockwell was trying to do, I always ended up being directed to either Rockwell’s website or yours. Since Rockwell and I do not seem to speak the same language, or their own language the same way twice for that matter, your interpretations were instrumental in getting me past the distractions, and into where I needed to be to get my work done.

So I’d like to say that I appreciate your what you do and that I left your “tip” with Amazon. Thank you so much!

    • Melbuk,

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!!! A double major is something to be very proud of, and I’m very glad to hear we have another Automation Engineer joining the ranks!

Thank you for sharing your story, and for your “tip” 🙂

      Sincerely,

      Shawn Tierney
